Abstract

The aim of the article is to study the components of the mechanism for the provision of electoral processes in Ukraine, taking into consideration the experience of the European Union countries in order to simplify the administration of elections. The design of the research consists of the use of process and systematic approaches to the formation of the mechanism of electoral procedures, which consists of regulatory, institutional, organizational, information, financial and logistical support. The scientific novelty of the research is to use a comparative approach in the research of the electoral law of the EU and Ukraine. The research field is limited by the norms of electoral law. Practical results of the study provide an opportunity to identify the advantages of harmonization of the country's electoral law with EU electoral law. Comparative analysis of the certain stages of electoral processes in the EU and Ukraine helps to identify threats and limitations of electoral procedures in Ukraine and to develop ways to improve the mechanism of electoral procedures to obtain a synergistic effect.
