ANALYSIS OF MODERN HUMAN RESOURCE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE HOSPITALITY SECTOR

Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive study of contemporary human resource (HR) technologies in the hospitality sector, taking into account the transformative processes caused by russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the digital modernization of managerial practices, and global trends in flexible employment. The paradigm shift in personnel management — from operational administration to strategic utilization of human capital as a generator of innovation, emotional, and social value — is theoretically substantiated. The typology of modern HR technologies is analyzed, encompassing automated HR management systems, digital recruitment platforms, internal analytics tools, gamified learning models, emotional state monitoring instruments, and adaptive professional development programs.


Based on a conducted SWOT analysis, the study identifies the strengths and weaknesses of HR process digitalization, as well as the opportunities and threats for its implementation within Ukraine's HoReCa industry. Specific emphasis is placed on the socio-humanitarian dimension of HR technologies, which emerges in the post-war context as a core component in forming a new labor culture. The study outlines the particularities of implementing digital HR tools in Ukraine, including disparities in digital maturity among enterprises, a lack of institutional support, and insufficient integration between state and business initiatives.


The article proposes six key implementation strategies for HR technologies, focused on innovative flexibility, social inclusion, ethical legitimacy of digital solutions, and strengthening the crisis resilience of HR systems. It is demonstrated that the further development of the Ukrainian hospitality sector is impossible without a synthesis of technological modernization and a humanitarian foundation, which ensures not only efficiency but also sustainability and dignity in labor relations during the post-war recovery.
